Description: The Advanced Injection Molding
Processes Course contains discussions on two process technologies. The
first technology discussed is called Multi-Live-Feed molding, more
commonly referred to as the ScorimTM process (Scorim is an
acronym for Shear Controlled ORientation Injection Molding). The second
technology discussed is called Pulsed Mold Temperature Control.
Information on the equipment, hardware, benefits and limitations on both
process are also discussed. Several cases studies detailing applications
in which these processes are also included.
