In addition, two stages in the virtual design process are also evaluated. The first is the creation of the engineering design, and the second is the evaluation of the design.  The tools for each are also reviewed. Exploration of the different forms of computer-aided design (CAD) such as, wire frame geometry, surface modeling, and solid modeling are key features of this course which will improve your understanding of design evaluation using simulations and virtual prototyping.
