Gain Professional Recognition and improve your skills by earning a highly valued Manufacturing Technology Certificate (MTC) in Plastics: A Primary Processing Certificate, an Injection Molding Certificate, and an Advanced Injection Molding Certificate.

LightSpeed’s Applied Technology Certificates are endorsed by the National Council for Advanced Manufacturing (NACFAM), and certified by Lightspeed Technologies for Skills Mastery in Engineering & Manufacturing Curriculums specifically designed for today’s web-connected workforce.

Your MTC certifies your knowledge and skills in manufacturing technologies and procedures that are of critical importance to Manufacturing personnel, CAD/CAM Designers, Engineers, Purchasing and Quality professionals. With your certification, employers will recognize your level of expertise and reward those who continuously improve their own skill sets.

There are 3 Manufacturing Technology Certificates available within the Plastics Curriculum.  A Primary Processing Certificate, an Injection Molding Certificate, and an Advanced Injection Molding Certificate.

Certificate Requirements:
To obtain a Manufacturing Technology Certificate – Primary Processing, complete the Required E-courses and 2 Elective E-courses from our Plastics Curriculum below. The electives allow you to tailor the program to your specific needs. You may take courses in any order, although beginning with the required courses and following with the electives usually works best. Note that any previously completed course may be applied toward the certificate.

REQUIRED E-COURSES:

ELECTIVES: (Select 2)

*All Lightspeed Online E-courses have been recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education (ACE).  By completing the *red courses within this certificate, you may earn an additional 2 college credit hours, along with your LightSpeed MTC.  A passing grade of  70% or higher on the final assessment for each course is required to apply toward a MTC.
Certificate Requirements:
To obtain a Manufacturing Technology Certificate – Injection Molding, complete the Required E-courses and 2 Elective E-courses from our Plastics Curriculum below. The electives allow you to tailor the program to your specific needs.
